One problem we encountered was sound within the video clips. We had to have the sound of the video clips in certain sections, as there were diegetic sounds that had to be included in the video, however along with these sounds there was natural muffle, and when we cut the sound down to the size needed, it sounded too odd to have the silence, then a muffle, then silence again, so we decided to included all of the sound from the videos we shot. However there were problems with this as we could be heard talking on some shots, as we did not anticipate using the sound from the shots in our. To overcome this, we split the audio from a shot where the muffled sound was continuous throughout, copied the layer and pasted it on to shots that had interrupted sound, muted the sound of the video itself, and made the duplicated sound layer as long as it had to be to suit the shot, so that the shot had a continuous natural sound.
